Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Reports To: Brokerage Leadership
About Ambroziak & Rao Insurance Brokers
At Ambroziak & Rao Insurance Brokers, we pride ourselves on delivering tailored insurance solutions and exceptional, relationship-driven service across Mississauga and the Greater Toronto Area. We combine deep industry expertise with a modern, client-first approach. As we continue to grow our portfolio, we are looking for a dedicated and professional Customer Service Representative to join our team and play a pivotal role in protecting and nurturing our valued client relationships.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, high-energy Personal Lines CSR to oversee and service an established book of personal lines business. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who excels at client retention, possesses sharp technical underwriting knowledge, and looks for natural opportunities to add value to our clients’ portfolios.
If you are a licensed professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and wants to move away from a rigid corporate call-center setting, you will fit right in.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for an assigned book of personal lines clients, managing inquiries, billing questions, and daily service requests with professionalism and speed.
Policy Servicing & Endorsements: Process mid-term policy modifications (vehicle changes, driver updates, property revisions) efficiently within company portals and our Broker Management System (BMS).
Proactive Renewal & Remarketing: Review upcoming renewals facing rate adjustments, proactively analyze market alternatives across our leading insurers, and re-underwrite files to maximize client retention.
Account Rounding & Growth: Identify coverage gaps during routine client interactions to cross-sell and up-sell complementary coverages (e.g., umbrella liability, watercraft, or personal lines additions to commercial accounts).
Claims Advisory & Advocacy: Provide empathetic, clear preliminary guidance to clients at the First Notice of Loss (FNOL). Act as their advocate and liaison with company adjusters to ensure a smooth claims experience.
Compliance & Data Integrity: Maintain strict compliance with Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) regulations and ensure 100% accuracy in logging client files, notes, and applications to maintain a pristine workflow.
Qualifications & Requirements
Licensing: An active RIBO license in good standing is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of independent brokerage experience managing a personal lines book of business in Ontario.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with major insurance market portals (e.g., Intact, Aviva, Pembridge, Economical) and experience navigating a standard BMS (e.g., Applied Epic, SigXP, or similar).
Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Ontario Automobile Policy (OAP 1), home/condo/tenant policy wordings, and current underwriting guidelines.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a natural ability to build trust over the phone and via email.
Organization: High attention to detail, strong time-management skills, and the capacity to handle a high volume of transactions without compromising accuracy.
What We Offer
Competitive Compensation: Base salary ranging from $45,000 to $55,000 (commensurate with experience and licensing credentials).
Comprehensive Benefits: Extended health, dental, and vision care packages.
Professional Development: Ongoing support for continuing education credits (CE) and professional insurance designations (CAIB, CIP).
Work-Life Balance: Stable Monday-to-Friday schedule with a collaborative, professional office environment.
To Apply
If you are looking to advance your insurance career with a stable, dynamic, and growing brokerage, we want to hear from you. Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your experience managing a personal lines book to lidiaa@pbnet.ca. Ambroziak & Rao Insurance Brokers is an equal opportunity employer. We thank all applicants for their interest, however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.

Tech-Savvy: Experience navigating modern Broker Management Systems (BMS) and comparative rating tools.
What We Offer (The Value Proposition)
Lucrative Commission Splits: Highly competitive commission structure on both New Business (Hunter) and Renewals (Farmer), offering uncapped earning potential.
Extensive Market Access: Immediate access to top-tier standard personal/commercial insurance companies and niche specialty markets/MGA contracts.

Ultimate Schedule Flexibility: You define your hours and build your business your way.
Professional Alignment: Guidance and support from experienced industry leadership to help you structure large or complex commercial placements.
