With auto insurance, the two main types of auto insurance are your standard personal auto insurance and your commercial auto insurance policy.
Personal auto insurance is the most common policy type and its ideal for normal work commutes.

Common Commercial Auto Insurance Endorsements and Coverage Options
We understand that no one wants to pay more than they need to. Because of that, we want clients to understand what coverage they may need so that they don’t have to overspend on their policy. Some optional coverage options to consider include:
- Collision Coverage. This covers your vehicles physical damage in the event of an accident thats at-fault.
- Comprehensive Coverage. This covers your work vehicle in incidents other than a collision such as vehicle theft, glass damage or vandalism.
- OPCF 20. Reimburses you for a rental vehicle while your work vehicle is being fixed.
- OPCF27b. Extends Comprehensive and collision coverage to your non-owned vehicle used for your business.
- OPCF43. Also known as a depreciation waiver, it covers the full cost of your work vehicle from the date you bought it up to 24 months. Must be purchased brand new to qualify with most insurance companies.
- Accident Benefits. As of July 1 2026, you will now have options on which accident benefits you would like to add to your policy. As these are complex coverages, its best to speak to a commercial auto insurance broker directly.
