How A Specialized Commercial Insurance Broker Can Help You
As a Contractor, you have a lot on your mind. Finding contracts, quoting jobs and finding the right sub-contractors is a lot of work. We know you are busy people and will do our best to make the process as simple as possible.
Step 1: Call our brokerage. One of our licensed commercial insurance brokers will ask you a couple questions to get an idea of what your business does.
Step 2: The broker will take this information and will get in touch with the underwriters from several insurance companies to find out which company can offer the best rate.
Step 3: Once the broker secures a rate, you will get a call back or email (whichever you prefer) with the rates and coverage breakdown.
Step 4: If you choose to accept the quote, we will send you an application to signed.
Step 5: Once the application is signed, we can issue a Certificate of Insurance and finalize the policy with the insurance company.

Insurance Renewal Do's and Don'ts
Every year insurance companies send renewals to you for review. You need to review them annually and if any changes or updates to your business insurance are required, please notify our team and we will help. Below are some common Do’s and Don’ts:
DO’S:
- Notify your insurance broker of any changes to your business (ex: your business expanded or you offer a new service).
- Review your policy package every year.
- Contact your insurance broker if you miss a payment to avoid gaps in insurance.
- Notify your insurance broker if you purchased equipment that you want covered. This is not automatically added.
DONT’S
- Do not let your policy lapse on renewal. If you had any payment issues, notify your broker immediately.
- Do not offer clients a service that is not disclosed to your insurer. Certain services may not be covered.
- Do not neglect to notify your insurance brokerage if you expanded your business and your revenues have drastically increased. Insurance companies look at your revenue to determine the size of your operation.
